🎉Applications for the Responsible Tech Mentorship Program Are Now Open!
Start the new year off right by applying to the Responsible Tech Mentorship Program! Applications for mentees are open until January 20th. We had 1200 (!!) people on our waitlist to get notified, so please let us know about your background, interest in the program, and involvement with the Responsible Tech movement and All Tech Is Human to improve your chances.
👏This virtual six-month program is entirely free, thanks to the generosity of our numerous mentors and the support that our organization receives to further our mission of building the world’s largest multistakeholder, multidisciplinary network in Responsible Tech. This allows us to tackle thorny tech & society issues while moving at the speed of tech, leverage the collective intelligence of the community, and diversify the pipeline to better match the complex challenges we face.
Our Responsible Tech Mentorship Program is all about elevating new voices into the movement! Since launching the program two years ago, nearly 1k people have participated from a broad range of backgrounds and locations. If you’re selected to participate, you’ll commit to one virtual meeting a month with a mentor and three fellow mentees. Mentors work in Ethical AI, Trust and Safety, Tech Policy, Tech and Democracy, UX Design, Research, and many other areas.
👋Would you like to be involved in the Responsible Tech Mentorship Program? Submit your application now! We are also looking at ways to expand and enhance this program. If you have ideas for that, ping David Polgar (expanding the program) or Sarah Welsh (learnings from the program).

🥳All Tech Is Human was named one of the best communities for AI and Machine Learning in 2023!
Thank you to Towards AI for ranking All Tech Is Human’s Slack community as one of the best communities to connect with others and learn about AI and Machine Learning!
“If you’ve been looking for a community centered around AI ethics, consider this your holy grail. All Tech Is Human (ATIH) is a responsible tech nonprofit based in New York City, focused on rebuilding the responsible tech ecosystem for the betterment of society. Their Slack group features an incredible diversity of members, from engineers to policymakers to young students and everyone in between. The channels are incredibly well-wrought and useful for connecting and learning about responsible tech in almost every conceivable way, with a heavy focus on collaboration. Beyond the general, introductions, and question channels, there are many special interest conversations happening, such as improving social media, accessibility, race and technology, tech culture and business aspects of responsible tech.
Beyond Slack, ATIH offers a mentorship program, events and happenings, job board and industry guides. Entering the AI ethics space can be challenging, as the industry can take many shapes and helpful resources can be scarce. ATIH works to close the gap for anyone looking to involve ethical tech in their career, and provides a comprehensive and supportive community reaching all levels and fields of improving technology for all us humans.”
