Responsible Tech 2025 goals, upcoming livestream, and more
Plus an All Tech Is Human holiday song to add a little joy
🌲Happy Holidays, everyone! We are glad that you are reading today’s newsletter, as we look back at a productive 2024 and plan for an impactful 2025.
⏲️At the start of the year, we set out to build the world’s largest multistakeholder, multidisciplinary in Responsible Tech. Well, we did it. This year we held 43 livestreams (join us this Thurs), 15 in-person gatherings, had hundreds of subject matter experts collaborate in our working groups, and grew our Slack community to 11k members across 105 countries, and much more. You can read about it in our Year in Review. We deeply appreciate your help in our organization’s growth.
🎯Now…All Tech Is Human’s goal for 2025: put this powerful network to use in tackling thorny tech & society issues. Complex problems require multistakeholder collaboration and understanding, which is the superpower of our org. We are uniquely positioned to move from sensemaking to collective action. Thanks to the newly-announced support from The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation and Siegel Family Endowment, we’re headed into 2025 with some nice momentum so we can meet our new goals.
🤔What would YOU like to see from All Tech Is Human in 2025? Let us know in our form here. We are currently setting up convenings (NYC, SF, DC, London), resources, white papers, and other projects related to Responsible AI, Trust & Safety, and Youth, Tech, and Wellbeing.
Now, onto the newsletter 👇By making it to the end, you’ll get to check out All Tech Is Human’s holiday song 🎶
How do we have tech advancement that is designed for inclusivity, equity, and justice? Join our livestream this Thursday
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence has reshaped industries, economies, and societies worldwide. However, these advancements often disproportionately affect marginalized communities, who face both opportunities and risks from AI technologies. We’ll be exploring questions such as, “what are the most pressing challenges marginalized communities face in accessing AI-driven tools and technologies that could improve their quality of life (e.g., in education or healthcare)?”
Join this Thursday’s livestream featuring Desmond Patton (Professor, University of Pennsylvania and Rise25 honoree) and Lama Mohammed (Affiliate at ATIH), where we will explore the intersection of AI and marginalized communities; highlighting the challenges while advocating for technological advancement that is designed for inclusivity, equity, and justice.

We recently held our third livestream in celebration of Mozilla’s 2025 Rise25 honorees. Led by ATIH UNet Project Lead, Nicole Cuneo, the conversation featured honoree Dr. Angela Odour Lungati, a seasoned technologist, community builder and advocate of open-source software, speaking about being a changemaker in Responsible Tech.
Angela shared the following advice:
Ensure your contributions reflect diverse voices and expose systemic gaps.
Stay curious and open-minded. Enter discussions ready to challenge assumptions and grow.
Seek mentorship and pay it forward. Angela credits peer and professional mentorship for her growth.
Tackle imposter syndrome. Confidence-building requires intentional effort, including reading, asking questions, and seeking coaching that can help you stay on track with your goals.

All Tech Is Human Holiday Song (courtesy of ChatGPT)🎄
Verse 1
In a world of screens and glowing lights,
We gather round on winter nights.
Through bytes and code, we make a start,
Building tech with soul and heart.
Pre-Chorus
It’s a season of sharing, a season of care,
Creating a future that’s thoughtful and fair.
From the ones and zeros, a melody true,
All Tech Is Human—it’s me, it’s you!
Chorus
Oh, we’re building bridges, not just machines,
Making tech that’s kind, not cold or mean.
For every coder, dreamer, and friend,
All Tech Is Human—where the heart won’t end.
Verse 2
From AI dreams to data streams,
We’re crafting thoughtful, ethical themes.
Together we strive, no one’s left behind,
A tech revolution that’s just and kind.
Pre-Chorus
It’s a season of progress, a season of cheer,
Imagining futures that we hold near.
A tapestry woven with everyone’s part,
All Tech Is Human—it’s the beating heart.
Chorus
Oh, we’re building bridges, not just machines,
Making tech that’s kind, not cold or mean.
For every coder, dreamer, and friend,
All Tech Is Human—where the heart won’t end.
Bridge
Let’s light up the world with empathy,
Shape the future inclusively.
Each voice matters, each hand holds the key,
Together, we write humanity’s story.
Chorus
Oh, we’re building bridges, not just machines,
Making tech that’s kind, not cold or mean.
For every coder, dreamer, and friend,
All Tech Is Human—where the heart won’t end.
Outro
So this holiday, let’s dream anew,
A world where tech reflects the true.
With hope and love, our song is spun,
All Tech Is Human—we’re all as one.
😎Let’s co-create a better tech future in 2025
