Betaworks Studios / Betalab recently hosted an event called Building a Better Social Media Future, which prominently featured learnings from our recent report, Improving Social Media: The People, Organizations and Ideas for a Better Tech Future. This discussion was moderated by noted democracy advocate and researcher-in-residence at Betalab’s Yael Eisenstat (featured in the report), along with Nicole Chi (co-founder of the Mobius Project), All Tech Is Human founder David Ryan Polgar, and Rana Sarkar (Consul General to Northern California & Silicon Valley) from the report.
