👋Join Julia Angwin (Founder, Proof News) for a special livestream about the U.S. TikTok ban on Thursday, March 21, at 1 PM ET!
On Wednesday, March 13, the United States House of Representatives passed a bill that could lead to a U.S. TikTok ban. In response, Julia Angwin (Founder, Proof News) published an OpEd, Why Are Lawmakers Trying to Ban TikTok Instead of Doing What Voters Actually Want?
Julia will discuss the role of the U.S. Senate in making a TikTok ban possible, the potential effects of a ban, and what U.S. citizens may want instead of a ban with All Tech Is Human’s Josh Chapdelaine moderating.
🤔Have a question for Julia Angwin? Join us live on LinkedIn on Thursday, March 21, at 1:00 PM ET to take part in this important and timely discussion!

☀️70 Visions for a Better Tech Future from March’s Responsible Tech Mixer!
We asked attendees of March’s Responsible Tech Mixer to share their vision of a better tech future. We curated 70 visions for you to read, explore, and use as trailheads for discussion.
“A better tech future starts with an inclusive team, which imagine experiences, which empower and assist a diverse group of people. The characteristics of curiosity, compassion and empathy will help drive that future. Replace ‘move fast and break things’ with "move deliberately and fix things." - Robert Stribley
“A web that works for everyone.”- Katherine Townsend
“Integrating responsible AI at the inception of projects and continuing to evaluate it throughout, rather than it being a consideration at the end of projects.” - Tara Majmudar
“A better tech future places agency in the hands of humanity.” - Sara Robin
“Where everyone is safe to create, explore and enjoy the web.” - Arya Seghatoleslami
