In today’s newsletter, you’ll read about our upcoming Safety by Design gathering in NYC, our gathering with the Finnish Consulate in New York around promoting multistakeholder collaboration in Responsible AI, and our London gathering focused on online safety. We also have an upcoming livestream on navigating your next career move in Responsible Tech, along with another livestream on ethical dilemmas related to chatbots. Lastly, we are putting out a call for tech leaders to help inform a new Tech Leadership Curriculum we are doing in partnership with APCO.

Let’s strengthen multistakeholder collaboration in Responsible AI
We have lined up an incredible mix of speakers, including Dr. Rumman Chowdhury, Renée Cummings, Nabiha Syed, Miranda Bogen, Shahla Naimi, and Tatiana Rice. Two additional speakers to be announced shortly.
This is a gathering for 75 leaders in Responsible AI; we are nearing capacity with additional invitations to be completed by next week. All Tech Is Human has partnered with APCO, a global advisory firm, to create a Tech Leadership Curriculum. To help inform the development of this curriculum, we are currently seeking to interview individuals in tech leadership positions (director level and above). Interviews will be conducted over virtually.
Our upcoming Tech Leadership Curriculum is aimed at equipping senior technology leaders with the skills and insights needed to thrive in today's dynamic and rapidly evolving tech landscape. We would be grateful for your assistance!

Our organization is designed to listen; we have heard from many individuals in the community (through our Slack, livestreams, in-person gatherings, etc) who are looking to either transition into a more values-aligned role or navigating a recent layoff.

We’re announcing our two panel topics for our upcoming gathering in London on July 16
Thank you for the overwhelming level of interest so far in our upcoming London gathering! We are just starting to send out the first round of invitations. Also, because of the overwhelming interest in Responsible AI and online safety, please be on the lookout for a potential side event on July 17.
Our panel topics are Safety by Design for the Next Generation: Navigating the Evolution of Child Safety Policy and Generative AI: Understanding Its Risks and Rewards in Online Spaces.

Moderated by Rose E. Guingrich (Princeton GradFUTURES Social Impact Fellow with All Tech Is Human) a psychology researcher who specializes in human-AI interaction, this livestream brings together voices from industry, law and policy, and academia to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and ethical questions surrounding these technologies. From development and deployment to regulation, research, and public education, our panelists will share insights across sectors and address pressing questions.

🎞️On April 7th, All Tech Is Human’s David Ryan Polgar and Sandra Khalil attended the film premiere for Don’t Look Away, a documentary centered around whether the theory of products liability should be applied to platforms when foreseeable harms occur. David was interviewed for the main Bloomberg article by Olivia Carville that the film is based on.
